The Naming of fYROM is returning to the public political scene [in Greece], with the declarations on Tuesday in Veroia by Panos Kammenos, head of the ‘Independent Greeks’, who asked the Prime Minister Antonis Samaras to come to the Assembly and answer “whether he has given away the term ‘Macedonia’”.

Speaking in Veroia where he was partaking in the celebrations for the 100 years of the liberation of the town, Panos Kammenos called the Prime Minister to “come and answer in the Assembly whether or not he has given away the term ‘Macedonia’, as the Minister of Foreign Affairs declared in the Assembly”.

He commented that the Prime Minister has “knelt” on this issue of the name of fYROM, and said that for four weeks he has refused to answer the question in the National Assembly”.
“He has the obligation to answer, he who toppled the government in 1993 over not giving away the term ‘Macedonia’, as he has said”, ended Panos Kammenos.
