NATO denies the existence in Kosovo of the new Albanian armed group which, with a message it sent to the Albanian News Agency “”, calls itself “Army for the Liberation of Albanian Occupied Lands” (ACTOSH).

As it claimed, ACTOSH is well organised and armed and gave “a deadline of two weeks” to the government of the Prime Minister of the Kosovar Albanians, Hasim Thaci to “reclaim the authority’ and destroy the so-called Serbian parallel administrative structures of in Kosovska Mitrovica, menacing that if this was not done it would commence armed action.

The same deadline was also given by ACTOSH to the government in Skopje, so that it “withdraws from the Albanian lands that it occupies, in the contrary case there will be attacks against police and military structures”. Finally, the Albanian organisation is supposed to have warned the Greek government “not to play with the fate of the Albanian Chams, because otherwise it will receive attacks from us”.

In the same atmosphere, the Serbian Minister charged with Kosovo, Goran Bogdanovic, informed NATO of the existence of a group of Albanians with military camouflage uniform, who had videoed tests of rocket launchers in regions of Kosovska Mitrovica. The Serbian Minister asked NATO to investigate the existence of armed extremist organisations in Northern Kosovo.
